Sunday

This morning , the Lord blessed me with an opportunity to share His Word with my youngest brother. 1Peter was the focus of the morning . My brother is going through some trying times in his life, he's reaching out into the world and he's realizing that they don't want him because he believes too much. With his whole heart. He's different. The Bible tells us that we are not to worry about fitting in with the world .It tells us that He will take care of all obstacles set before our paths if we only have the COURAGE to give up ourselves and live in His will . That in doing so we set ourselves apart by living in His Grace and great peace even in the face of adversity and division. Our inheritance is not Earthly but Eternal. Not fleeting but forever. To know that one day you'll get to go home, forever and that until then live in contentment and happiness the rest of your days.... Now that's Hope, that's Joy; in abundance, even when it seems like there is none to be seen with the eye. We simply close them and turn them unto the Lord to see His vision of Love. God Bless you Peter. God bless you Brother. Peace Be With You.

The road to being a Christian is a hard road. There is never an easy way. The straight and narrow path is what we have to follow. It is not simply the belief in God or even the belief that Jesus was the son of God.

We are His children, and we have to be of a selfless mindset, doing things for our brothers and sisters while never asking anything for ourselves, and focusing on our reward which is in heaven. We must not simply believe, but do. We are human beings and by 'being' content in our faith we are not 'being' anything but in the way. We have to do and let our good actions shine as the light that Jesus spoke of.

People often forget that the gospel of Jesus Christ was not just believing who he was, but what he taught...what he really preached. When we can understand that the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand, then we can understand exactly what Jesus was speaking of.

Great blog, but always remember that buzz words and catch phrases are easily said and easily remembered, but rarely ever mean anything.

The state of being a Christian is an active one. It is a conscious awareness of our submission to do God's Will. By ' being ' this way we do train our eyes unto the Lord and await His command, by doing so, we live in His Grace. Instead of acting on the things we believe to be right , we give up our own judgment for one that is righteous and we just DO. We must remember that the lessons that Jesus taught us were of how to live L-O-V-E. We must be open always to receive that message so that we may allow our actions to be those of Christ's. So that our Brothers and Sisters may experience the happiness and love that God wants for them without the 'stumbling blocks' that that are mentioned throughout the Bible , especially in Romans, where we learn to come together to form the body of Christ .It truly is a selfless transformation & the ridding of it is key.
